The city of Chicago has had a very colorful past. During the 1920’s the city of Chicago was the “home” of gangsters such Al Capone. The tragic events surrounding the gangland wars would have boosted the circulation of local newspapers. This would have been good for Printing in Chicago business during the time. The newspapers would have run extra copies to cover the events as they unfolded. The printing presses would have run around the clock to keep the public of Chicago informed. It is a fact that at one stage there were one thousand gangs in Chicago. That is a lot of news that needed to be reported; good news for printing in Chicago.
