Is the Link Assistant SEO Tool Really Helpful?

I have been working on getting new links to my website in order to increase my search engine rankings a bit so I am at least on the first page of results for the keywords I am targeting. I recently saw an ad for the Link Assistant SEO tool and I am wondering whether this would really make the whole process easier for me. I am spending way too much time on this, so it would be nice to automate things a bit if this wouldn’t harm my efforts any. Can anyone tell me a bit more about this program and whether or not it works well?
