Sketch books for sketching

My sketching and drawing activities have exploded in 2009 and I keep filing them up faster than I ever thought I would. It’s getting expensive keeping up with buying new sketch books every few weeks. My latest purchases are different, though being hand-made books, with leather overs and genuine hand made paper on the inside. the paper is rag, so doesn’t have the disadvantage of fading and yellowing over time because it’s only wood pulp papers that suffer from acid problems – hence the often mentioned ‘acid free paper’. I’m loving the new book, despite the nature and texture of the paper forcing me to draw slightly differently.
